Wednesday January 22, 2024 witnessed an act of magnanimity as a former Deputy Provost of the College, Mr. Hammed Agboola, donated books to Tai Solarin Library in SACOETEC.

This is the second time Mr. Hammed Agboola has donated books to the College to support the resource needs of students of the College.

This donation of books is made up I’d course books, journals, periodicals, textbooks and magazines. Back copies of Tell Magazine, which are excellent reference materials, were part of the books donated.

Handing over the books to the Provost of the College, Dr. Modupe Oba-Adenuga, the donor explained that his motive is to encourage students by making resource materials available to them in the College Library.

While receiving the books, the Provost and the Deputy Provost, Mr. Wale Adekoya, took turns to thank Mr. Agboola for his kindness and for not looking away from the College after his retirement from service.

While handing over the books to the College Library, the Provost charged the library to endure judicious use of the materials. She also requested that some of the magazines be sent to the Counseling Unit after processing.

Mr. Hammed Agboola recently retired from service after meritoriously serving the College as a lecturer in Yoruba Department, Dean of the School of Languages and as the Deputy Provost of the College.
