Gov. Dapo Abiodun names, inaugurates Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Science and Technology Governing Council
The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has named and inaugurated the Governing Council of the Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Science and Technology, Omu-Ajose, Ogun State.

In a ceremony at the seat of government at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Gov Abiodun charged the newly inaugurated members of the Governing Council to employ their vast and collective wisdom to uplift the college, urging them to ensure that their tenure brings in new and positive developments that would, in turn, complement his administration’s efforts towards building the future of the state.
He encouraged the Governing Council members to prove their already known mettle and help position the College, making it the envy of other schools. The Governor remarked that the College is named after a distinguished traditional icon whose name is associated with excellent and who has written his name in gold following series of educational developmental investments he has made.

The Governing Council is led by Prince Wole Sowole. Other members are Engr. Femi Omotayo, Reverend Bola Oyeledun, Maj. Gen. Bamidele Matthew Shafa (Rtd), and Prince Kayode Tejuoso.
The Governor reaffirmed his confidence in the new Governing Council to efficiently understudy the challenges facing the College and come up with innovative solutions that would advance the well-being of the College.

This Governing Council is the second to be inaugurated by Governor Dapo Abiodun, the first having been led by the distinguished Prince Adeyemi Adefulu MFR of blessed memory, who led the pioneer Governing Council from 2019 to 2023.
